Cornelia Aßmann, 47, her future role at RECASAS will focus on the organization (planning/material procurement/team leadership) of the sculpture and creative workshop, as well as on the specific offerings in this area.
She offers the following workshop for the RECASAS Community:
Cornelia Aßmann impresses with her diverse skills, which she acquired in her entrepreneurial activity as a self-employed craftswoman with her own shop. In the CorA-Art-Workshop-Shop, Cornelia has been practicing her craft since 2009 together with a colleague, where they sell their products, and have hosted several exhibitions for other artists, and storytelling evenings. There, she offers workshops, courses, and children’s birthday parties. The market for crafts products has always demanded creative ideas from Cornelia for selling and marketing her products and services, as well as for the organization of her business.
Since 2019, she has partially stepped back from the shop and now works as an art therapist in the day structure (BFBTS) of the Albert Schweitzer Stiftung Wohnen & Betreuen. Last year, she worked intensively on the redesign of the day structure for the users, which included analyses of the interest in individual offers, redesigning weekly plans, planning and reorganization of offerings, and restructuring individual organizational parts. She was also involved in the redesign of processes in the workflow and documentation of the daily structure.
In her role as an art therapist, Cornelia works with vulnerable individuals who are familiar with emotional crises and have experiences with psychoses and psychiatry. In this setting, Cornelia is known for her calm demeanor and authenticity with which she builds relationships. She encourages people to engage in creative activities, helping them to develop their abilities and competencies in self-efficacy, and to experience self-worth, curiosity, or relaxation in the process.
She is familiar with organizing courses and designing groups. Her teamwork skills, her resilience, her organizational talent, her joy in working, and her love for people have been demonstrated time and again in these work contexts.
