With peer support at the center, we create spaces where creative expression and community open up new possibilities – and where limiting power structures can gently be questioned and reimagined.
Mission
RECASAS invites people to retell their stories – and opens up opportunities to develop resilience, empowerment, and self-determination.
Through art, writing, music, theater – and also cooking together – we open paths where words don’t always have to be used, and show how creatively lived community can spark hope and point toward more dignified and compassionate ways of living together.
